We benefit from many beliefs and ways of life, and we hope that we can benefit others as well. This page shows the interesting and mind-opening individuals who have come to our training sessions as guests and have honoured us with their wisdom and experiences.

During our Friday 14th November training session, Mr Vinod Kumar from the Art of Living Foundation came by for half an hour to 'meet and greet' as he put it. Mr Vinod has visited countries around the world, talking to people and teaching them breathing techniques, de-stressing methods and basically how to live at peace with ourselves and others in this turublent world. His visit to Jordan is en route back to India, after spending time in Iraq distributing medicines and helping our borthers and sisters deal with the difficulties they are in.
Mr Vinod's talk focused on living the present moment, not letting thoughts of the past or the future affect our actions. Being relaxed and focused in what we do and not to expect the outcome. Expectation results in disappointment, he explained, which in turn produces what we call 'stress'. This also applies to our training. Avci Wing Tsun is about being in the present and reacting accordingly. Real life has no definite consequences, and there are no preset actions we can take that guarantee the outcome of any situation. This is why we need to relax and let our reflexes come naturally, thus letting our natural reactions deal with whatever is happening. (Mr Vinod top row, 3rd from left) (Photo by mutaz)
